Praying Mantis Parasite!

It's a horse hair worm. It's a parasite that goes into it's host as a larvae, then grows in them, and when it's fully grown, it mind controls it's host into drowning themselves, and then they come out. The thing we just saw was tricking the worm into thinking it completed the cycle, and keeping the mantis alive. Actually pretty interesting yet scary entity.

It’s called a hair worm they take over the bugs body and controls it and he’s just saving it.Luckily it does not affect us:)
