2:22 is not a valid reason to suggest that there isn't a romantic relationship between the two as if you know royal history, you would know that some of the kings and queens who were Christians committed some of the most vile and debauchery things, such as hoard their wealth while their people were starving, have numerous affairs, murder/torture anyone who threatened their position, and diminish the freedom of their people (look at King Henry viii, King Leopold ii, Vlad Dracula, King Louis XV etc.) They were monarchs, so could do practically anything they want without repercussion, no matter what others or their faith said.
