I use shadows to see when an enemy is coming sometimes, it’s very useful when sniping or shotgunning

I’ve watched so many graphics videos for many different games, and this is the first time someone explained screen tearing in a way that easily clicked lol. Never really understood why it happened. lol thanks for the video

Depth of field is also a good one to have on for certain players. Me personally, I have a strong astigmatism which makes things blurry already without vision correction (which i do have). I can't tell you why but with depth of field off, the world feels flat and I lose a great deal of depth perception so when ADSing with something like a shotgun, people can feel very close when theyre in mid range and sniper only range just 10 feet back. Its weird but it can be helpful for some people to keep on

Thanks for the colorblind tip. I'm not colorblind but changing it helps so much now. Especially on certain maps where it's red everywhere and when the Invader in Gambit pops up, I can't tell where they're at. But now I can.

The enhanced pointer precision tip was literally gamechanging. My mouse's sensitivity was always annoyingly fast, and would fluctuate for seemingly no reason. Turned it off and it instantly became much more manageable.

Forgot to mention the fact that you can make any weapon auto in the settings aswell so you don’t have to put so much stress on your triggers when running a scout or pulse rifle

Chromatic aberration applies a subtle drop shadow to the HUD, which makes it much easier for me to read the radar. I leave it on bc that outweighs the downsides.

Depth of field is responsible for full screen blur effects during explosions, in addition to actual depth of field. An instant-off for me.

So I used to use controller vibration on all the time. And actually it does help: helps with faster reactions when receiving damage from an unknown direction and quickly locating it's source. In addition, fusion rifle mains KNOW how beneficial rumble is as it helps you time your burst and recoil correction. But, yes, for me, the cons you listed outweighed the pros, after some time.

Just wish to point out that for some in terms of controller vibration like myself we use it in place of not paying attention to the other display pieces therein, itd be like pointing out not everyone has the attention span of looking at radar much like how if you're caught with your pants down mid aim against something else you are more than vulnerable for whoever is attacking from the blind spots.

My shots just don't feel right without vibration, throws me off entirely

You earned a sub. Holy sh*t you've improved my gameplay experience a lot by explaining and showing settings I've wanted to turn off but didnt know existed.

Controller vibration alone shouldn't be affecting your aim more than any other in-game setting, especially visual ones like Motion Blur and Depth of Field. Vibration does have benefits too, like having good vibration mapping for haptics leads to a different way to pace your shots than visual and can let you focus more on tracking your target than your gun's recoil. (Personally I play with vibration on as it gets me better shot pacing than without, although I also have had more experience with it on than not) As for vibrations encouraging a tighter grip, yes it will encourage you to hold your controller tighter than normal, it will be something to get used to, but you shouldn't be death gripping it with or without vibrations. ***PSA: You shouldn't be white knuckling your controllers 100% of the time, or even 10% of the time.***

The setting i recently turned on was “get glasses”… “get glasses” actually allows me to see my screen from more than 3 feet away… and bonus it reduced my car accident ratio by 50%. My K/D is dog water now, but at least my crucible experience is more enhanced with this simple setting.

For the controller vibration, as someone who is accustomed to
It and uses it as ingame information it is invaluable to turn off because it feels like a 6th sense

I think I'll leave the vibrations on, because I myself specifically have a common problem with realizing I'm taking damage. Often times, I'll accidentally walk right into somebody's vortex grenade or Witherhoard Blight and not notice until it's too late.

The controller vibration one is only useful if you have no sound, I was playing PvP without sound and you can feel the enemy's footsteps

I’ll be honest, I can’t imagine playing destiny without motion blur.

The blur on limbs, objects in motion, the edges of the screen, etc make the game feel so much more filmic and stylish.

When it’s turned off, Destiny 2 looks so flat and sterile to me. I’m used to motion blur and play great with it on. It’s a setting I never turn off purely because of the presentation buff.

Morion blur has a lot of benefits beyond “helping low framerate games feel smoother” in fact-it works quite well with super high framerate games if it’s a motion blur implementation with a high shudder speed like destiny

Ok the shadows thing is one that I NEED to take advantage of. I always have a hard time seeing in super dark environments so if this removes any of that extra darkness I'll stop running into walls as often!
