NOTE: FORGOT TO MENTION WINDOWS 10 GAME BAR. I RECOMMEND YOU DISABLE THIS:
Right click on the Start Button at the bottom left of your screen.
Go into Settings, and then Gaming. Select the Game Bar on the left.
Hit the switch below Record game clips, Screenshots, and Broadcast using Game Bar so that they are now Off.

Played around with some of this settings this morning. Did way better in PvP (not hard I'm bad) and just made my game run so much smoother. Thanks a lot Benny!

I had no idea that I had Enhanced Acceleration turned on, and a couple other things that were fighting against my aim. This has helped me sooo much. You’re a life saver Benny thank you!!

In Nvidia control panel, under "change resolution" you should be using NVIDIA color settings, not default.
Also, mouse settings like the Windows "enhance pointer precision" do not affect Destiny 2 due to the way it takes a "raw input". So, unless you hate how it feels in Windows, that's not going to change your aim. What does have an impact is the smoothing that Benny talked about in the XML file.

You have a mistake with low latency value to 0.

According to Bungie:

To turn off Reflex Low Latency functionality, set the value to 0. This may slightly improve framerate at the expense of latency.
Default Reflex Low Latency functionality is enabled when the value is set to 1.
When the value is set to 2, Reflex Low Latency with Boost is enabled. This feature overrides the power saving features in the GPU but can provide slight increases in latency reduction.

Missed one setting in Nvidia that can help the mouse feel more responsive. Low Latency Mode On, but not Ultra. Ultra setting had some issues in my testing.
This setting will reduce the default 3 frame buffer to 1 frame of buffer.

Monitor Technology - Fixed Refresh (if you want the lowest input latency)

About that "Enhance pointer acceleration"... I had no idea I had that on and after I turned it off moving my mouse feels so weird haha.

btw @benny at 11:54 you have selected: ''Use my preference emphasizing''. If you want to use the settings you configured and just showed us, you should select ''Use the advanced 3D Image settings''.

I thought I knew everyting about this, and I was wrong. Thank you bro <3. THough I think with a 3090, you dont need to inhibit your settings so greatly. No chance. Anti alaising and a few other settings can definitely be turned up without losing your 240hz. I have a 3090 on a 5k2x ultrawide monitor with mostly high/highest settings, alaising 16x, only a few medium and, I still hit 200fps. You're on 1080 so you have a ton of room...
