I'm not trying to get anyone bent out of shape but I have to say that I just don't get all the V4 hate. On a highway cruise I only know it's in V4 mode if I see the dash display. Yea, it's cold out and the windows are up but I don't feel the change either. I'm on a road trip cruising down the highway getting 30 mpg in a C8. What is not to like? I really don't care what others think, I'm in my C8 and those that are not either don't care or wish they were in a C8 too. It's 2023, this is life with cars, we should be happy Corvettes have survived and just enjoy the drive.

I wonder how much louder the gm approved borla exhaust is compared to the normal performance exhaust? And is it worth it?

I have Paragon Titanium exhaust installed and I do not experience any engine lights or problems with cell calls. The valve simulator works like a charm. Looks and sounds great...

Had 2 C8's so far, both with Paragon Performance catback exhausts. First one had their touring exhaust, current one has their titanium exhaust. No problems with CEL on either car. They provide valve simulators that are plug n play. Wasn't aware others were having that much of an issue getting a CEL due to a catback. I installed the titanium exhaust myself without a lift and didn't seem that difficult to me.

I'm not sure if you'll get this question but even though I missed this broadcast I need to know if the
Borla non-attak track type system has a drone or not? Mine is still on back order and if it does, I'll cancel it immediately because I DON'T want a drone.

I have the upgraded exhaust on my 23 stingray c8 from the factory, I love the pop. I also added a 150 dry shot of nitrous, I whoop on the Z06 all day.

You can absolutely turn off v4 mode in Z mode if you max out the power train section aka engine/shift

good stuff, I like AWE personally and the track was wild outside but after break in had minor drone. It really made the car enjoyable & fun to drive opposed to npp. Really outdoes the comp in sound, IMO equal to Fab Speed, & I ran it against all those exhaust even C8Z. … & it soonds better standing still.

I had the AWE touring put on my C8 at Carlisle and 2 guys had it installed in about an hour. My car is non Z51 and did not have the NPP exhaust. It’s loud all the time. No drone or CEL. I almost did not get it done as I was having second thoughts. Driving home made me think I should not have installed the exhaust. 2 months later I think it was the right move. I love the black tips and have gotten used to the loudness. I’ve driven a Z51 car since and there is a big difference with the AWE. From this conversation it almost sounds like my chances for CEL or drone might be greater if my car had the factory NPP and I then added the AWE touring.

Paragons is 2400 with sensors and shipped, I looked at AWE, but the build quality on the Paragon seen unsurpassed.

Basically after watching this I don’t think I’m going to put an exhaust on my c8. How do you pass inspection with the light on?

Never had a check engine light with my Borla Attack system for my C8. Functions like factory when cutting off 2 mufflers in quiet mode. No drone at all. Sounds amazing but that is my opinion and what I picked vs the rest.

I installed the Fabspeed Valvetronix on my C8 and sport cats and what a difference. Top of the line company developing top of the line exhaust systems for the C8. Extremely satisfied with HP gains and sound. You have to be patient because they’re made to order (not in stock). I think some of the opinions here doesn’t count when you can even say the name of the company correctly.. its FABSPEED NOT speedfab c’mon. Also, you haven’t heard how the system sounds in person and somehow some of you have an opinion….

Track mode definitely dismantles V4 mode!
It’s the only mode I drive in….

Every time I drop into v4 mode it sounds I ran over a license plate. How does the v4 mode effect the 500 mile break-in.
