What Humans Would Look Like If They Evolved To Survive Car Crashes

Around 300,000 years ago, human beings began walking the Earth. Humans stood upright so they could continue moving around while simultaneously using tools. Fast forward eons to our modern-day, and it’s clear that our world doesn’t even remotely resemble the one in which we evolved into. And whereas, in the past our biggest threats were predators on the prowl, now it’s cars!

Researchers at Victoria’s Transport Accident Commission wanted to emphasize how deadly car crashes can be with a very interesting approach. Instead of showing graphic violence in a PSA, they modeled and built a figure of a man named Graham. This sculpture has one very interesting property, so keep watching because this is what humans would look like if they evolved to survive car crashes.

I think this is a very interesting theory. I certainly hope that humans never look like that. I did survive a nearly fatal car crash. My body will be screwed up for life. I smile through the pain to the best of my ability. I can't imagine WHY our bodies would evolve in that manner. This is still a very interesting thought/theory. Nice video GRUNGE! 😁
