I bought a cool flashlight/lighter from you guys, good stuff!

Thats good because the mark could help you positively identify your attacker if they get away. Like if police get involved.

Combination of something like this and some kind of flashlight ( with strobe effect ) would be a great tool because it can distract the enemy, you can use it for strikes and wear it basicaly everywhere (perfect for the car) . Flashlights are underrated but they are useful not only at night

Kubotan is just a rebranded old yawara (jujutsu) stick.
I will add this: The Yawara was also called Tenouchi which literally means “ inside the hand” often the Yawara also incorporated a short length of rope or cord. Looped around the wrist, the cord allows the Tenouchi to be thrown to distract an opponent. It could also be used to ensnare a person’s limb or weapon as well as to restrain an attacker.

A high powered kubaton sized torch with a dense focal point and notches or prongs on the front would be even better. It can pass off as a mni flash light so it doesn't need to scream self defence, you get all the same advantages of a kubaton but most importantly, you now have the advantage of having a torch that is very disorientating and blinding when you light someones face up in the dark.

This seems fine, but who carries a gas shutoff key on their key ring?

In the UK/England, since the introduction of the Offensive Weapons Act 1953, any object in your possession is an offensive weapon. ( Articles that are designed to cause injury and anything that is intended for causing injury. ) So in effect, everyone are carrying weapons, all the time, so you are at risk of prosecution anyway. The way the law is worded means that everyone is a criminal, but a reasonable excuse may stop you being punished. ( This issue came up when the law was being debated by the British Parliament in 1953. Up until this point the police had to show that the person was going to use the object for a criminal purpose )

Will this work on armored enemies? For example, a knight?

I walk to and from my truck with the ignition key sticking out between my first two fingers, just in case someone wants a full body and face massage or just a really close look at my truck key 👁 🔑

This is a blatant rip off of knife maker Newt Livesay's Meat Eater from early 2000s. I have one in my collection. It's a pity Newt didn't patent or register the design.
