The main thing in a street fight is to avoid being egoistic. Thinking that you can break a board or have achieved your black belt doesn't mean you can defeat 10 people alone like Bruce Lee. You should be self aware about your strength and limits cause in school fights teachers might interfere and protect you but in street fight your life is 100% your responsibility.

There's actually this kind of style called "Running" where you put all of your energy and stamina to your legs and start kicking into the ground to create distance and get you safe from fights.

When im at school they call me a fighter. But when im at the street they call me a sprinter 😈

Yeah. Cuz in the end, what we want is to get to safety.

I think the best technique for street fights is jonathan joestar's secret technique where you turn your back at the opponent and then use your leg's strength to escape the enemy's attacks

Takin 5 homies armed with gun fu is probably enough.

I would argue muay thai. Learning very lethal kicks and punches can help you escape or win a fight. If you are able to low kick a person and stop them running as fast, you can run away and escape easily

Honestly, no martial art is bad for the street. It just depends on how well the practitioner applies it

I love his honesty even while he does another martial art he can admit it’s not the best for street fights

That entry kick was so smooth. Can't stop watching.

I think so as well, I practice Karate and kickboxing, but in a street fight where the surface you're on is unpredictable, kicking is risky.

For me it's muay thai, it's more intense and intimate since it's a lot of close quarters and it gives you more options in a messy situation with knee thrusts and elbow strikes

1. Almost any martial art works on the street if you mix streetfighting into the way you fight

2. I would pick a more well-rounded martial art than boxing, since in boxing you don't get taught how to counter leg kicks and if you are too reckless you might find out that getting hit with bare knuckles is a lil different from a 16 ounce glove

Best solution to any type of street fights:
-hit the enemy before they take out their weapon (knock them out or hit them hard enogh)
- *joestars secret techniques away*

Runjitsu absolutely bodies all martial arts, using the "getting the fuck outta this bs" technique is damn near unbeatable

I’m a kickboxer, but I still have to give this one to Muay Thai. In boxing, your goal is to hit your opponent without getting hit. In Muay Thai, I swear it looks like fucking murder 💀

Edit: In hindsight, my phrasing was really shitty. Im sorry if I came off the wrong way, I just wanted to compare the parallels between 2 martial arts I respect. My b if I offended any of y’all by calling one martial arts “murder” I didn’t mean that in a disrespectful way.

The answer is ALWAYS the one you train. But also avoiding trouble in the first place and turning tail and running if you're outmatched and if you can honestly
