I had a vitamin D deficiency did't know it until I got a blood test that helped me find the exact amount of mg to take. 30 days later it lifted my depression. and helped with anxiety. I was taking magnesium and b vitamins but the test showed I was good on those. The bloodwork elimated the guesswork. Thanks for sharing.i

Dr. I would like to thank you for the brilliant video, for the brilliant work you are doing, bringing us important information. I have ADHD. When I was in law school, I used to record all the classes because often only my body was in class, but my thoughts were elsewhere, meaning I had a lot of energy, not to mention the anxiety, which makes this comorbidity even more challenging for ADHD. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 28. Until then, I wasted a lot of time with so much energy I have. Since I was diagnosed, I sought out a specialist psychologist and also a specialist doctor in ADHD (but the race was tough to find these professionals qualified in ADHD), it was the best investment for my life. After starting treatment, I started getting the best grades in college, learned to speak 2 other languages, today I can produce much more. But the struggle is constant. It is very worthwhile to seek treatment. I have the energy of a child, this is not normal, however, my doctors help me distribute all this energy so that I can produce and not procrastinate, however, the comorbidity of ADHD which also has anxiety makes everything more difficult for ADHD. Almost no one talks about people who have ADHD with comorbidity. I thank you for your beautiful work! Congratulations, Dr. Roseann. Hugs from Brazil.

You, who has ADHD, stand resilient like a beacon of strength. Don't be disheartened! Let negative words not shake you more than the unwavering certainty within. In a world filled with judgments and swift opinions, it's crucial to remind yourself that your intelligence transcends the fleeting criteria set by others. Disregarding gossip and hollow criticisms is a powerful form of resistance. You, possessing a brilliant mind, should never belittle yourself due to the limited perspectives of others. What truly matters are not the negative words attempting to reach you, but the unshakeable confidence you hold in yourself. Genuine intelligence surpasses labels and hasty judgments, manifesting in actions, resilience, and perpetual growth. Warm regards from Brazil.

The ABSOLUTE best supplement for ADHD is Ocean’s Alive marine phytoplankton. I suppose this falls into the essential fatty acid category. This stuff is an absolute miracle.

Hey Dr Ro. Great video, I’m a Ro too! 😄 I’m thinking that muscles need more magnesium potentially because of motor disinhibition as well, which can be tied to underactive executive functioning, tight muscles. The magnesium is needed to calm muscles but also, the tight muscles have likely depleted magnesium in the body. I was diagnosed this year at 32. If I don’t take magnesium I get heart palpitations. I’ve been taking magnesium since I was in highschool. I had palpitations as a child, so I probably have always needed magnesium.

Good information. But I really wish people/society would become more conscious about their own mental programming surrounding adhd and what “appropriate” behaviors are in children. There is so much shame. Do you even realize it? I was all into the video until the comment came out of your mouth about “all the behaviors that make is so hard for parents to deal with”.

Maybe if we focus on the children themselves and their happiness, and creating environments that support them, and don’t push this statement that they are hard to deal with by their problems, then many children with adhd would grow up so confident that they will actually have the motivation to find videos like yours on their own to help themselves be the best version of THEMSELVES! Instead of growing up anxious, depressed, and with a lot of shame because these “helpful” videos were created to eliminate the headache away from their parents instead.

Coming from a 35 year old adult diagnosed with ADHD at 15 with a masters degree in psychology and parents that watched videos to make me “easier to deal with”.

Horrific. Reprogram your subconscious beliefs. That’s why the public school system in the US is run like factories as much as they say they differentiate instruction now and include everyone. Your statement is still the core of most of society. SHAME.

ADHD is harder on the children than the parents. ADHD is also gift and a blessing. We don’t need shame added to the “struggles” that come with it so that the light of our gifts are dimmed.

Can you combine all these in a single day? or Which combo would you recommend the most? I'm high strung and easily distracted and I have no self control when it comes to focusing. I already take Vitamin D and prenatals for my low vitamin B levels.

Hey Dr. Roseann! Question - does this video apply for adults too? I downloaded the checklist but I'm looking for supplements for me as an adult. Thank you! :)
