110 days time lapse of growing beetroot from seed to fruit and harvesting. Watch me as I grow beet in a small pot indoors. Growing beet root at home is simple if you follow my video and avoid some of the common gardening mistakes. My beetroot plant grew to its full size in about 100 days and I harvested a fresh beautiful beetroot! This time lapse video of beetroot took me 110 days to make. The seed I used is of variety "tall top early wonder". The seed packet said 45-50 days but it grew quite slowly and took 110 days instead. Many factors determine the speed at which beetroot will grow so it may be faster for you. Beetroot plants are suitable for growing on patio with sunlight or indoors with plant grow light, and you can also cook the leaves separately. Beetroot is very rich in nutrients!

Grows tall & spindly because it's seeking light -- if gown indoors bring the grow light MUCH closer to the plant until the stem can be hardened off.

Dont harvest to early! If you do it will turn out crunchy but it will also taste bitter, it’s what happened to my dad😅
