You wouldn’t piss me off if you were my neighbor... I could listen to you testing tires day.

When a 650hp car owner rides in an 800hp car, his car will evolve into an 800hp+ car. Lol

JD- I remember speaking to a Mickey Thompson rep when I ran ET street radials on my stick car, he said you only need to do a small burnout and just scuff the tires, the burnout in the video was wayyy to much and would have caused the tires to be over heated and greasy. If the tires are old and heat tempered they will require a longer burnout to be sticky but he said thats the point to toss them.

I'm running a set of 555R's on my Terminator making 650rwhp and they have been fantastic. Definitely some of the best bang for you buck tires I've personally tested. Great video.

555R’s will also get you home in the rain every time. Once the surface temp of the 555R’s gets to 110°F, they hook just as good as any other DR. The tread actually is beneficial when digging into street asphalt.

I have a lightly modded gt500 with the stock F1’s and I can’t wait to replace them with some toyo’s. Thanks for posting this video! And keep up the good work!

As someone with a modest ~380 hp at the wheels, the Nittos rock! Best street drag radial I've used.

TOYO R888's FTW! That's what I've got on my GT500 (with about 725whp) and they hook better than any other tires I've had as well!

I agree. The Toyo R888's are very good. I had a pair.

I run 315 R888r's on my Camaro... 906/800 and these tires even in cooler weather hook well for me. I prefer handling over just straight line grip with a DR. These for me are the ideal mix of traction from a dig or slow roll, while still being able to attack curves on the road course, off ramp or back roads. Its a preference but they hold power, that's no a if. I also ran them a 775/690 C5Z with the same amazing results.

Well why the John Force burnout. Mickey's only need a quick spin. You over heated the tires.

I have the NT555R2 on my 2018 Mustang GT. These handle amazing on the street racing haven’t tried 1-2 hammering or rain yet but haven’t had any crowd killing moments in my stang.

Mickeys are for strip racing. Try running all 3 on a track and see which one hooks better. I run Nittos on the street and Mickeys on the strip. I totally agree with you on the price. Nittos are definitely priced better, especially when you get into a 305/20-20 tire

Got r888r for my 600hp camaro 408. It hooks in first. Its a really good street tire. Only down side is they don’t last long. So if it’s not your daily then I get them. A lot better then the r888.

So glad the proof is out there now . Nitto has always been better for me .

I had a set of toyo proxes tires on my 2004 Dodge Magnum. Sold the car but kept the rims and wheels. Pulled them out of storage in 2017 and put them on my 2016 scatpack and drove the crap out of them for 5 years with no problem. Toyo makes some bad ass tires plain and simple.

1st of alll...before i watch the rest...why arent you comparing the nitto nto5r?? The 555 are no bueno in the comparison

I ran ET street R 305s on a S550 with around 600 wheel they hooked up really well for me with about 14psi in them. As far as warming them, soon as you see smoke let off brakes and roll a little to just haze them and they will be grippy not greasy.
