I like the newer vids F9 is doing, but I really miss simple, concise reviews like this.

Trackmaster all the way! Use them on my 1999 WR400 and my 2003 WR450. Gone through three sets of them and also a set of Metzelers, Dunlops and Pirellis. The Kendas lasted the longest with no chunking like you mentioned and also great grip, even on the road. They’re also the cheapest! Just realized this video is 4 years old! Oh Well, the Kendas are still my favourites. The chunking issue must have been resolved some time ago. They’ve been great the last two years.

3 year later and this video is still so relevant

After some research, I ordered a dunlop d606 rear, and a pirelli mt21 front. I haven't tried them yet. But your recommendation sure makes me feel more confident in the choice.
Currently, I've got a full set of kenda k270's and I honestly love them on and off road. I can corner like a sport bike (though I can't reach those speeds) and off road, I don't have the grip to wheelie in loose dirt, but I make it everywhere real dirtbikes go. If my new set doesn't live up to the kendas, I'll be going back.

Nice to see the MT21 on the list, back when I was younger and could tell the difference between tires it's the one I settled on for my riding style.

I like how you talk in the earlier videos. Feels like you're just having a chat. The newer videos you sound like you're reading a twilight novel at a jazz club on a tuesday night

Best honest review I've seen, because I've owned almost every tire referenced

Hey Ryan, ZERO dislikes after 5800 views tells me that you talk sense. Thanks. Keep 'em coming.

Well this Video is a few years old now, still I bought the Pirelli Scorpion Pro based on Ryans recommendation. I absolutely love it! Most fun I ever had on my DR350 :)

I've got the Pirelli MT21's on my XT225. They carve up off road very well, and I've used them in hare scrambles without lacking for traction. Then on the flip side of that, I've cornered so hard on the street with them, I've scraped my saddle bags. They're a very confident tire. The only way I can get that XT on a 65mph freeway near me is to take the ramp (Marked 25mph) going flat out (60-70mph) just because I won't be able to accelerate on the straight portion of the ramp quick enough.
The front tire has very bad uneven wear, where one side of the nubs wears faster than the other, but the tire can be reversed. I won't be reversing mine, since I'm in the market for fresh ones before I take my dual sport to an arenacross race. And I haven't ruled out the MT21's.

I just went from Mitas E-07s to Michelin Anakee Wilds. Love the look of the Wilds on my bike and it feels more gripped up on and off road. At higher speeds the Wilds can wander a little bit but it’s a fair trade off since it feels so much more planted to the ground. I use my bike less off-road than I’d like (town commuter and gravel roads), if I were riding single track enduro style I’d probably want something more aggressive.

Hello Fortnine. Good review. Thank you!

I've tried the AC-10, D606, Kenda Parker, Pirelli Scorpion Pro. My friend has done the AC-10 and T-63. The T-63 rear is freakishly small compared to other tires of the same size and they also wear quickly on the road from what my friend says. I ride mostly desert and 98% dirt. My favorite front is the Pirelli Scorpion Pro. Very confidence inspiring. I like the Kenda Parker DT rear. Scorpion Pro rear is good but has FIM sized knobbies which aren't as tall as the Kenda DT.

For this year's LA Barstow to Vegas I may do a Trackmaster 2 rear and Scorpion Pro front.

Thanks for the review. Great info for certain. I have a WR250R, and I ride pretty much only off road, maybe a quick in the neighborhood test run occasionally. I've been running the D606 rear and MT21 front and have been pretty happy with the setup. It can definitely sketchy on sand and mud if you don't have the pressures down to lower, around 12 to 15 is where I normally run them.. Where I ride most of the time, the Red River Motorcycle Trails there is a wide variety of terrain from sandy, muddy, rocky, and roots.. you name it. This setup has done pretty good overall. The front is still in good shape after one season of riding, and the read is about ready for a refresh. I am thinking about going with a Michelin StarCross 5 medium rear after I get the state inspection done.

Love these reviews, honestly the most helpful channel I've found. Helped me find the perfect tire for my Aprilia rxv 550

I run a Continental TKC-80 front and a Dunlop D606 rear for a DRZ 400S. In my opinion a perfect match
