How to Install Windows 8 on Mac and PC

In this video I give a full tutorial on how to install Windows 8 on your Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X or Linux computer using VirtualBox. With this method you can install Windows 8 without needing to dual boot or deal with partitions making it the best install method for Windows 8 for free inside a virtual machine.

@ZwinkyTOLSpecials Sure, if you just want to install it and delete the old OS you can put it on a USB drive and use the Windows 7 DVD/USB download tool.

@lOtaconl Nope, that's the whole reason running it in Virtualbox is good. It's inside a program rather than deleting your data and starting from scratch.

@iBlieker23 That's happened to a few people. The only thing I can really say other than to try a different version of Windows and make sure the settings are correct is to dual boot instead.

@ibanezmauri12 It will start Windows 7. To get to Windows 8 you need to open Virtualbox.

@kyogre504 Just delete the virtual machine and uninstall VirtualBox. Be sure to have it delete the Windows 8 .vid file so you get back your hard drive space.

@Theboxset It's a pain with Virtualbox. Just stick with your host OS to do that.

@raymondo97 Yeah. Several people have had that problem and I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's the amount of RAM you have?
