In this video, I decided to Install Windows 8 and try it out FOR THE FIRST TIME. I never used Windows 8 until today, and after this video, I can't say I regret it. It did take me a while to find and Download Windows 8, but I finally found a good Windows 8 ISO. If you want to try it out, the link down below, as well as the official Windows 8.1 Download Link from Microsoft.

I remembered using this one. I didnt hate it nor did i loved it. But by the time windows 10 was out, i immediately upgraded

The Windows 8 Metro UI was truly touch and gesture based. You had to learn the touchpad gestures to use it without a touchscreen. Once you learn the 3-4 touchpad gestures, it was a very fast and fluid UX.

Would be good with some sort of touch interface like from 8.1 on windows 11 for tablets looking back it wasnt so bad. Would be nice to be able to have the 2 different interfaces on demand

You can use Alt+F4 to close a metro app window or drag it from the top to the bottom.

Plz help to repair ms store for internet connection. Store closed in 2019 and my son wants to install in VMware to make date time to 1 August 2013 to get windows store in windows 8.

8 was good on a touch-based display and so was 8.1, but 8.1 fixed a LOT of the issues that 8 had on desktop. I was one of probably 6 people who used 8.1 all the way until it was unsupported back in January

As a Windows 8.1 enjoyer, this video is wonderful because 8.0 was a mess. Wish more videos on 8.0 existed though, great video love the hate on Windows 8!

You should try using Windows 10 1507, which was the RTM release of Windows 10, tons of people hate it so it would be to cool to see your reaction on it

I was looking for a video to learn if windows 8 can be install in a newer computer... I have a 10 year old acer travelmate with a cd/dvd in it and want to purchase a used hp zbook which is about 5 years newer, comes with windows 11 installed and has a cd/dvd as well... My music programs are working great right now and upgrading them would be costly and cumbersome so I'm searching for info on how to plug my ssd hard drive with windows 8 and all my preferred settings and programs in the 5 year old hp zbook with windows 11.... I've been told that I can't install windows 8 on a newer computer cause it's not compatible but you seem to have done it with no issues besides the inconvenience of never having worked with windows 8.... I figured that the best way for me to place my hard drive with windows 8 with my programs and settings in the new hp zbook with windows 11 would be to first install windows 8 for which I have the original dvd to sort of "prepare" the newer computer for windows 8 and then replace the hard drive with all my programs in it... would that work better than just trying to exchange hard drives you think? thanks in advance for any suggestions you and your friends here can make!!!
