I personally have a tradition of taking 1860. München for a spin. Trying to dethrone Bayern, starting from the 3rd league. The club has a more than decent fan base, very good tradition of fostering young talent, and a very clear and defined goal in getting better than the local rival, and dominating force in the country

Malaga: "This club has a lot of young players to -nourish- steal"

A refreshing list! Not the usual red bull teams and Leicester crap you see on most 'must try' lists. Cheers Jack.

Who are you managing to start FM21?!

Was planning on Leeds but you've got me really interested in Malaga.

Enemy of the People Hertha Berlin look fun with Piatek and Lyon legend, Toussart. Great list!

Running through Canada, but with FC Edmonton to start. Finished bottom of the league this year, but definitely a possibility to rise up and build up my career

Jack can I just say a huge thankyou for your amazing content ! Not only does it keep me going during lockdown, but I'm also a nurse on a Covid positive ward . Your content really does help take my mind away from it all ! Your a legend Jack, and keep up the amazing work ! Thankyou Jack

having worked, and now a season ticket holder, im looking forward to getting AFC Fylde, last year was a real smack in teeth, getting relaged when we were 2nd favs for promotion, knowing the chairman (personally) will be an interesting save.... try to get the 2022 league status through conf North > Conference will be a hard task...

Deportive La Coruna would be my choice. They were quite the famous team back in 2000s but now they fell to the 3rd division of Spain. I want to bring them back to glory days :D

I usually start unemployed & wait for the first job to come up, it's a good challenge but think I'm gonna try Malaga

I will also recomend Sheffield Wednesday since they start with minus points in the Championship

For my Beta save it will be AC Milan - good club to learn the ropes with and to tweak formations etc with.

I'm amazed that given the story of the summer is the absolute scandal that's gone on at Wigan Athletic, only one content creator has even mentioned them, as a challenging save to bring a team back from the brink. You've also got Bolton Wanderers, Bury and Macclesfield in that mix.

My main save will be with Wrexham, with their interesting story of having Ryan Reynolds involved. The North West of England/North Wales is a very competitive area for youth players, so building a club from there is extra challenging.

Another club that would be very interesting would be Anderlecht, with all the young talent they have at their disposal - can you hang onto them and build a European powerhouse?

Good choices all the same but I figured I'd throw a few more in the mix.

Having been managing them, i think Vitoria Guimaraes are a very exciting team with the youth they have and they have a realistic chance of challenging in Portugal immediately

I like that it's a bit of a rogue list rather than the same standard teams

As a huge Stuttgart fan, they of course will be my pick for my career. Still, it's a club I can highly recommend to any of you. Great youth facilities, a lot of young players with a lot of upside, a long history with the last championship out of 5 in 2007, but recently struggled a lot being relegated twice. Also the staff is quite interesting with Sven Mislantat being (probably) well known across Europe.

I’m managing Jeju United in the K2 League, which incidentally they’ve just won in real life. Fantastic chance to build something big in a new league and get them into the ACL!

My favourite ever save was in FM16 when I managed Vizela, the worst team in the Portuguese 2nd Division. I won't manage them again, but I'll probably look to a lower-league team in a club based in a decent league, but outside the big 5 leagues...maybe in Holland, Turkey or Russia. But for the beta, I'm just gonna manage a sugar-daddy club and try to win every trophy within 2 seasons, which is roughly how long I'll last by the time the full game comes out and I'll start my first proper save.

If you can get thru the first couple of season with Bastia, and do some serious scouting, Bastia can get back to the top in good shape. I had fun with them in FM19
