Before giving this video hate, consider that this was made in the BETA version of FM21. And there has been 3 updates since then. For all you guys know, this could have been the best tactics in the Beta.

Also, never just copy-paste a tactic and expect it to work from day one. Your players might not fit, and you might need to do a few tweaks to optimize it to your squad.

Used these tactics and played 3 games lost 2-1 to Spurs lost 5-1 to Spurs and 6-0 to villa so in conclusion these tactics are class 👍

Keep up the work time. I'll be sure to have to try this in my Hertha berlin series in the 2021/22 season since I intend to already switch to a 4-2-3-1

First time playing FM and I went with a similar 4231 on my first save winning the league and the cup, and breaking league/cup records with RKFC in India. Beginner’s luck I guess. I tend to hold the shape to dominate in the opposition half and play short passing with high tempo, working the ball into the box for openings. A similar BWM instructed to press opposition’s counter outlet, and a BBM supporting the attack.

Just loaded this into a Sociedad save away at Leicester in the Europa League, all the players slot in perfectly. 3-0 down in first 15 minutes. Hopefully this is a freak occurrence.

I've got Tranmere in the League Two at the moment(changed them to my own team but still), playing 4-2-3-1 control possession with less tempo and short passes. We're dominating quite well in first place of season 1 but its not exactly a goal machine. We tend to just get 1 or 2 goals and then have to pack it up because we tend to concede later.
I'd love to play Gagenpress but I really don't think my players can handle that much intensity

As a quick follow up to my previous comment. I restarted just to test out if it was a freak game, we drew 0-0 but were much the better team. Then went away to Barcelona and won 0-3, then tanked Athletic Bilbao (our rivals) at home 4-0. Stop breaking the game, Tom.

I am still being stubborn and playing a flat 3 central midfield, that's my only difference. Plus the fact that I play shorter passing, and I slow down the pace when I have the ball.
