I know 4231 is the main thing in FM21 but I normally go for a 4132, if you have a solid DM they can normally hold the position on their own and having an extra striker can be useful.

One of the best tactics I've used this FM is the Troillongan by Jamie Taylor. It's absolutely insane. 5x Champions League winner with Lille, 7x Ligue 1 winners. It's stellar.

Just to do something different, I’m using a lower line and lower engagement in my Leamington save. Works well for a low level club and slow centerbacks. Very hard to score against us when I use a formation that includes a DM.

Great list. That double IWB.. they just seem to get the best results front and back. It's like the engine doesn't penalise them for the amount they have to travel, so they're always in good positions whether attacking or defending. I wonder if you could exploit them by pushing up the midfield and having them act as CMs on the turnover, it'd give you massive numbers going up and good cover on counters...

A top video with some cracking tactics. I’ve had lot’s of fun and success with Knapp’s Holy Ghost fire Oxford shape tactic. I will give into temptation and start a save using the burning hammer ‘cos it looks hot.

At 5:05 you state it uses a much higher defensive line but the tactic shown shows a standard defensive line, just checking as the line of engagement is higher but not the defensive line 🤷‍♂️

Hi Luke and everyone, now I have a thing about tactics and I've used all of these and there all amazing to use . What I will say is these and using OI's ( opposition instructions ) makes the tactic more stronger ( I personally use Ryan Cassidy 's on the discord ) if not watch video's and develop a understand it . But brilliant set of tactics that will set you to success on FM21 . Great video Luke 👍👍

All 5 of they tactics are insane! Burning hammer is the go to though! My fav to use personally is one that is based on the 4-3-1-2 SS you used with Holstein Kiel on stream but I’ve tweaked it to suit myself! 😂 #JFOL #OneHourGang 🦾
