Today we're going to be going through the Top 5 fallen giants that are worth taking a look at for your Football Manager 2021 save games!

I know it'll be mentioned that Dnipro 1 aren't the same club as the original FC Dnipro club, however they very much share the same DNA to the extent that the new club adopted the FC Dnipro football academy in 2017 as well as over half of the first team staff and players.

Here in Brazil we have some fallen giants like Cruzeiro and Botafogo (still playing in first division, but so far away from their glory days in the 60's). Also, there are teams like Guarani in the second division and Portuguesa, both former runners-up in the first division of Brazilian football. It's a really interesting experience.

Lisburn Distillery could be on this list. 6 time league champions, 12 time cup winners in Northern Ireland. Won the League Cup in 2011, played Barcelona and Benfica in Europe but now in Premier Intermediate, a league which doesn’t even require teams to have floodlights. They’re a playable team, I had a lot of fun with them in FM20.

I'm actually doing a save with Vitória, my hometown club, as soon as they were relegated i knew I had to play with them this year.
It's going really well, i managed to win their first league and now I'm aiming to keep winning it and to be one of the best teams in the world

To be fair these are great challenges! I started one with Deportivo la Coruna in the beta and made it in to the Europa Conference League within four seasons! Have to implement a strict wage structure and selling your best paid players first season is a must! Hopefully others can enjoy it too!

Another cool save is AS Cannes who have produced players like Zinedine Zidane, Patrick Vieira, and Gael Clichy. They were in league one in 98’ but have been in National 3 since 2001

Red Star Belgrade is one that I highly recommend as well, I’m one year in right now and knocked off tottenham away and they have a really good youth program

I've begun an IFK Malmo save. Overshadowed by their bigger neighbours, one time European Cup quarter-finalists and have never won the top flight in Sweden!
Never really tried a smaller European nation save before but absolutely loving it so far, the goal is to better that Quarter Final appearance and drag Sweden to a World Cup/Euros win!

Speaking of fallen giants. 2nd most winning team in the Norwegian Eliteserien is in 3rd tier. They have 9 league titles more than anyone beside Rosenborg. Always a fun save if you want a Nordic adventure
