I loved the videos on “miracles” of the Quran though… they so clearly laid out all the “coincidences” (God’s design). This linguistic analysis was a huge part in me becoming Muslim. Alhamdullilah. I come from a history of studying language and linguistics so this spoke to me in a particularly impactful way. May Allah bless and reward you. Ameen.

This scepticism comes when we see something beyond explanation and our mind is not ready to accept what we are seeing that this cannot be possible.. this is a natural reaction to miracle..
The people of the past did same scepticism with miracles that prophets brought

I myself have struggled with this😭 many times shaitan put doubts in our heart to stop us from the path of Allah. I can't tell publicly but Allah swt put a very clear sign for me in Quran and I under the waswassa of shaitan doubted that sign. Alhamdulillah but Allah swt guided me on right path. Most important argument for this "everything is accident/coincidence" is why is there so much order in everything then?🤔 If universe is experiencing itself through us then why mostly pain and loss ? Why can't this be heaven? - the answer is clear there is a higher power testing us and also There are no coincidence none-zero-nothing.

This question stops me and reminds me of what Allah says to us
﴿قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ مِدَادࣰا لِّكَلِمَـٰتِ رَبِّی لَنَفِدَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ قَبۡلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَـٰتُ رَبِّی وَلَوۡ جِئۡنَا بِمِثۡلِهِۦ مَدَدࣰا﴾ [الكهف ١٠٩]
Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement."

Sceptics can be incredibly obtuse; I think it might be a defence mechanism.
I saw a comment on "X" recently, in response to a scientific article on discovery of some previously unimagined interaction between a plant virus and the evolution of flying insects' wingspan, that said sth like, "Even those who insist creation is not purposeful will eventually concede everything in creation has a purpose." Reaction? Literal crickets 😂.
