The tip to go to a state college or community college first is gold - it makes a lot of sense to knock out the math/science prerequisites there!

Even before deciding to major in Aerospace Engineering, community college was the first thing I tackled. I'm so elated to hear this being a major step.

That document looks super helpful! Thanks for the great advice. I've gone the Mechanical Engineering route like you mentioned and joined all the good project clubs I could. Unfortunately, a lot of the career fairs you mentioned are canceled or only online this past year, but hopefully they'll open back up soon. Thanks for the advice on study groups. I have a few, but schedules are a pain to work out. I'll definitely try to find more. Thanks!

Great video as always! Not many people are open about some of these topics because it is uncomfortable to discuss. Thank you for sharing your opinions and insight.

Hey this is a great video! I actually graduated with my bachelors the same year you did, and masters a year later, both in aerospace engineering, and I have been an aerospace engineer for about a year now. I completely agree with all the tips you gave. Not everyone is going to be able to follow all of them, but those tips will certainly equip you with everything you need to eventually land that dream engineering job.

Absolutely fantastic video. My son is 14 and sent me this video to watch. He knows with every fiber of his being that this is his career path. When the pandemic hit and we were all quarantined to our homes, instead of him playing video games, he found space videos, Elon Musk videos, aerospace anything and everything to do with learning physics… as a mother I am just blown away by his knowledge and listening to him talk with such passion.

Thank you for putting this video together. It was extremely informative and I will certainly be referencing back to it in the future and possibly contacting you when the time comes when Nathan is ready to take his courses.

Thanks very much for these important tricks to enable us embrace aerospace engineering. I had a dream of embracing this court by shifting from Mechanical but I have been worried whether it's possible
But this video has become one of those data sources which proved that it's possible. Long live Aerospace Engineer in the video.
I'm actually pursuing B's in Mechanical Engineering year 4
Hopping to enroll for aerospace engineering on Masters program.

Very informative video! I’m a high school senior looking to major in aerospace engineering and I believe the community college tip is very solid. I participated in this dual enrollment program where I can attend high school and college at the same time and it’s completely free. I’ve just applied to some universities and if I get accepted I’ll go to the 4 year university first but if I get rejected I can just finish up the prerequisite classes at my community college. Although the difficulty is about to ramp up in the next few years, I believe watching these videos will help me keep hope and push through :)

As an aero eng under grad rn Im glad I found this because as much as I am passionate about it I'm worried about landing a job as I'm introverted and don't know how to network so this should help. Great vid!
