As a person trying to figure out my life purpose at 16 years of age this video helped a lot.

Edit: To everyone who's wondering I am now a student at the University of Washington. I'm set on becoming a Bioengineer and quarter one here is kicking my butt but college is super fun so far. Good luck everybody on your future applications and studies!!!

Just graduated in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State this past December if you have a passion for space/aviation would highly recommend it!

If you are scared of the workload, math, or physics do not worry about it if you are driven. You can learn anything with persistence and dedication. It's a great field to get into! Good luck

I’m in my third year of aerospace engineering. I literally feel like I can’t breathe with all of the hw and midterms and projects. And math is basically another language. Although, seeing your video makes me feel a little bit better :’)

I'm an Aerospace Engineer for 12 years now. I am still in love with it and I'm as excited as I was in my first day in university. Nice video!

I’m a software engineer working for NASA and, after working with scientists and engineers every day, I have become very interested in returning to school for aerospace or astronautical engineering. For those that are considering a career at NASA, most job postings don’t really emphasize which engineering degree they prefer. They are, generally, considering anyone with any type of engineering degree, especially from programs that are ABET accredited.

Hope this helps anyone that may need this!

I'm an Aerospace Engineer for 14 years and it pays well. I was part of the Airbus A380 platform and Airbus sent my Team with personalized cookies. It had the Airbus logo on it with our individual name on the cookies. That was 9 years ago and I still have the cookie wrapper. 🙂

True story: I was always into Gundams, my sister got into Gundams, she wasn't bright, but she loved Gundams, she got her degree in aerospace engineering, and is happily working on what she loves for 10+ yrs now. She was able to get internships at NASA, Northrup, and Boeing.

I'm proud of her, and I effed up because I'm in finance. >_>

I really want to be an aerospace engineer as I love space and learning the why and how of things. As a sophomore in high school, I’ve never really had to study cause I’ve always been fairly intuitive. I’m a bit worried that the intense amount of work required in college will just be too much for me.

I'm studying aerospace engineering and I was feeling a bit down because I just recieved my grades and I failed most of them. Although I love aeronautics and space stuff it IS really hard to keep up with the studies.
Watching this video helps in some way

They fit into automobile engineering too, especially on the aerodynamics.

Very good presentation. As a retired aeronautical engineer, I found that at the bachelors level, schools did not impart the skills needed. These skills are primarily acquired through the design cycle of the aircraft. This means to be an effective engineer, one must learn from the dessign process, the manufacturing process, and the operating process. New programs have been spread out so the learning process becomes more challenging. All in all, I loved the field and got to see an do way more than I ever thought I would.

I'm graduating with my bachelors in aerospace engineering and continuing to pursue my masters in it as well, this was the reassurance I needed. Thank you very much lol

If you love aircrafts, math, physics and maybe work for NASA, aerospace engineering is for you. Don’t get into this major if you are good in math and simply are fascinated with space and astronomy, or you will end it up like me, a school district superintendent.
