I thought you first were reading Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in your last vlog so maybe that's where the Doctor comes from. Although Dr. Strange would be something I would think of as well because of the Marvel movies. I'm curious about what you'll think of The Lies of Locke Lamora. I'm not convinced to read it yet but I'm sure one of your vlogs will convince me. Your Bleak House edition has such a lovely cover! I'm planning on reading a 612 page book this month called The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot. We will see. I don't usually read anything past 350 page but I've read a few 400+ page books this past month so I'll give it a shot. I'm looking forward to seeing your vlogs this month 😄

Some people believe that J.K. Rowling plagiarized the Earthsea Cycle series by Ursula K. Le Guin to write her Harry Potter books. I think there are 5 or 6 Earthsea books. So if you're looking for something similar to Harry Potter, these books might work.


The Wolf Hall trilogy is also on my tbr.
