OBS is by far my favourite and one of the most easiest and effective ones as well. you can add text, live stream, virtual camera, add text live, add in images, and so much more. different capture options as well making it a really good option

For video recording I recommend OBS I’ve had a lot of success with recording with it. There was this one time OBS stop work for me and I had to change the recording running from my graphics to cpu I think but it could be fixed now

Used to use FRAPS for everything til I realized it was eating my RAM alive....switched to Bandicam. Lots of options and not bad for the price. Thanks for the recommendations 🤙

OBS is by the far the best I've ever used, FOSS for the win

I’m a hack newb, but I use hand brake for grabbing clips, ffmpeg for fast forward effects, and obs for annotations, stitching, etc. Sure seems like a lot of work so kudos for all you do. I’m not aware of foss software that can do all that in one package.
