the snipping tool is great, but it's only downside is that it doesn't record desktop sounds.

I use power point app to create the same type of screen recording you are showing, so technically on all windows laptops easily we can screen record (even with or without audio). Only thing is to open the power point app.

First if i record on OBS 1080p gameplay it will take 50mb (suppose)
Microsoft shipping tool with same resolution, more data will take maybe double in 4k gameplay.
Lastly no mic recording
