47 years ago, and the music sounds just like it was released 2052. What legend, give me like here if you still watching in 2024

Fresh and relevant today as it was then. Besides his talent his was a kind and wise man. Im sure he would be quite disappointed with the world the way it is today

When I was 16ish, I drank some mushroom tea. I was by myself, laying on the couch looking at the red light on the remote. This happened to come up on pbs. I’ve never stopped listening.

If I had a time machine and just one trip, forget ancient Rome, forget everything else, I would go back to this moment and take my 9 year old self to see this

I saw this show. I was living in London as a college student. I saw Johnny Rotten in the lobby during intermission. I had seats in the center, about a dozen rows from the front. I saw him again in Boston in 1978 (that show is on YT, as well), from about the same relative position from the stage. Both shows were fantastic, as anyone can see from the video. His voice and music meant a lot to a lot of people.

I used to work with a guy that saw Bob in London in 1977 (I think) so I presume it was one of these gigs. So many people talk about "I wish I'd seen the Beatles, The Stones (at their height), Led Zeppelin or something. But really c'mon - Bob would be the dream ticket. Just to be uplifted. To dance.

Absolutely love this performance! Bob Marley & The Wailers were the masters of combining Reggae, Dub, Ska, and Prophecy together into an epic, driving groove

What a beautiful time to be young. The 60’s and 70’s were the best. Thanks Bob for being in our generation. ❤️
