The man had natural majic!! I explained the meaning of this song to two of my white friend's how he wanted his black people in the us to hear his music because unfortunately black radio was not playing this genius music on the black radio stations here in America, bob Marley was much more than a weed smoker he was a gifted musician and a black revoutionary !!

The Orthodox church of Ethiopia and the Rastafari movement of Jamaica should designate Bob Marley a saint; as Saint Marley.

Been listening to Bob since the early 70's and it was very hard to try to get people to listen at that time. I would have people over to my house on the weekend and would put bob on the stereo and they looked at me like I was crazy. Went back home for vaca and damned if my brother wasn't listening to bob. Spent a happy week with him.

I grew up in the islands, so listening to his music was a part of my life…

I've always admired Aston & Carlton Barrett's laid back playing style.
Undeniable musical excellence all around. 🇯🇲❤️🎶

Ras Tafari Makonnen; 23 July 1892 – 27 August 1975) was the Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974. Prior to his coronation, he had been the Regent Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia from 1916. He is a defining figure in modern Ethiopian history. Ras Tafari would have been proud of Bob Marley.

Play I some music: (dis a) reggae music!
Play I some music: (dis a) reggae music!
Roots, rock, reggae: dis a reggae music!
Roots, rock, reggae: dis a reggae music!
Hey, Mister Music, sure sounds good to me!
I can't refuse it: what to be got to be.
Feel like dancing, dance 'cause we are free;
Feel like dancing, come dance with me!
Roots, rock, reggae: dis a reggae music!
Roots, rock, reggae, yeah! Dis a reggae music!
Play I some music: dis a reggae music!
Play I some music: dis a reggae music!
Play I on the R&B - wo-oh! Want all my people to see:
We're bubblin' on the Top 100, just like a mighty dread!
Play I on the R&B; want all my people to see:
We bubblin' on the Top 100, just like a mighty dread!
Roots, rock, reggae: dis a reggae music! Uh-uh!
Roots, rock, reggae, ee-mi duba! Dis a reggae music!
Play I some music: (dis a reggae music!)
Play I some music: (dis a reggae music!)
Play I on the R&B; I want all my people to see: (doo-doo-doo-doo!)
We bubblin' on the Top 100, just like a mighty dread!
(Doo-doo-doo-doo!)
Play I some music: (dis a) reggae music!
Play I some music: (dis a) reggae music!
(Dis a reggae music!)
(Dis a reggae music!)
