As a New York motorcyclist for 50 years, I have explored most of the State. Your choices are pretty good. There are so many tiny gems... Millbrook, New Paltz, Deposit, Middleburgh, Cohoes, New Lebanon... and that's just the bottom east! I love the geogrpahy of NY State.. the politics can go to hell... But!

I'm driving through New York next week on my journey to northern Vermont. Can't wait to see how amazing it is.

I live in Pearl River, and have been to Tarrytown, Cooperstown, Greenport, and Lake Placid. There are so many beautiful places in New York State, it's a shame the only thing people think of is NYC or Niagara Falls. A short drive from New York City will put you in the middle of some beautiful natural countryside.

Love it! Watkins Glen is my home town. And I have family in Owego.

I also have fond memories of Owego. I lived in Apalachin, another small village nearby. When I lived there in the late 70's we'd spend summer afternoons water-skiing at the park beside the Susquehanna River. A beautiful place. memorable

Great list. I actually grew up in Owego, NY and it's a pretty nice village. The shops on Lake Street are super charming. I know live in Ithaca, NY but still visit my family in Owego every other weekend and it's still nice to visit.

Lived here most of my life. The Adirondacks are amazing and such a sweet get-away.
However, Woodstock has an amazing fun vibe as well ❤️

This is a special video, thanks so much for doing the work.. I teared up a couple times while watching. I am a local, and it filled me with pride & happiness to see my State shown in such a beautiful way!! We are NOT just the urban jungle, and I’m sure glad I KNOW that! Thank you, THANK YOU again for this 😎😎😎

We moved to Port Crane NY six years ago and I also love Owego. It is very cute. And the antique shop is wonderful.

Thanks so much for this video! I live in Warwick, NY (Orange County) and it’s apple season now. I used to spend many summers at my grandparents summer home in Roscoe, NY (Sullivan County) also known as Trout town USA. We don’t have that place anymore, but have many great memories of how peaceful it was to stay up there.

Nice job! I'm from the suburbs of Rochester and I worked in Skaneateles for an internship and I had a friend who I would visit in Penn Yan when he was at his grandparents' cottage on Keuka Lake. Both towns are great! I love rural Upstate!
