We need more videos like this. Straight to the point, not a super loud intro, no advertisements, no ad, no faces, no extra information outside of the point of the video. Good stuff my guy.

But... the Verge told me to throw that cover away then put the CPU (that's right, they've got one) into the ~holder~ by using the ~brace~...

Simple and to the point, unlike all the other tutorials. Thanks a bundle, my man.

Accidentally got thermal paste in the corner of the socket around a few pins. Very delicate!
Removing the CPU is stressful trying to use your fingernails to lift it up without moving the CPU side to side so as to not damage the pins

Have you ever bend the pins ? I mean I am new to this so its safe to do it alone for first time ?

isn't it great that intel decided to use copper hair as a connector. 10 minutes with that engineer please.

Why does it take so much force thought I broke it

I installed a i5-4690k cpu on a 1150 board a couple of years ago, left the plastic cover on and it bent the pins. I got another cpu, took the cover off and installed it without a problem. That's just my personal experience with it. I may not have had it sitting right to begin with.

very nice, thanks. I am always afraid that I will put it the other way around and screw things up.

A question . I am upgrading soon to the z370. How easy is it to damage the cpu when installing it. I've read that the pins are delicate and can get bent thus ruining the cpu. I am a bit clumsy. Is it as easy to install as it looks on your video? Thanks.

sir i have question.
This motherboard is from the intel 100 series chipset and has the LGA 1151 v1 (first revision) which only supports 6th and 7th gen intel cpus. I want to know that, after updating it's bios, do it will supports 8th and 9th gen cpus??

I haven't upgraded in about 6 years but it looks as simple as it did then. The plastic CPU cover is new. Is there any good reason not to wear a grounding strap? I may be over cautious but I won't touch the CPU even by the edges without one.
