Why I switched BACK to the iPhone X!

With the release of the iPhone 12, and me getting one as close to launch as I could, I had a new daily driver. But, after a few months, and a VERY cracked screen, I eventually switched back to my trusty ol' iPhone X - but why?

Got the iPhone XS last December despite the newer models or even the 11 having much better camera tech as you mentioned. I just absolutely love the value I got it for with its OLED display, speedy performance, and its perfect form factor (it was even cheaper than the base model 11). Glad to see tech creators like you advocating and educating on using tech sustainably!

I bought used XR last February and I'm pretty satisfied with it, even though it's not new & doesn't have fancy features, it suits me well!

I updated from a Pixel 4 XL to an iPhone 11 - my first iPhone since the iPhone 3GS - and I've actually been disappointed by the camera. I can't seem to zoom as far and the shots I take even at 1x seem more blurry than on my Pixel. Given how many people I know rave and scream about how much better the cameras are on iPhone over anything on Android, it's been really, really wild.

I upgraded from a 6s plus to a X a couple weeks ago and I’m loving it. It doesn’t feel like a 4 year old phone. Games run quick and smooth no lag. The screen thought a little smaller looks so much better. Even though movies are a little smaller because of the aspect ratio the overall size of the phone is perfect. I can comfortably reach every spot on the phone. I’ve never been someone that cares about the camera on a phone the camera on the X is really good and for the few things I ever take a photo of it’s more than good enough for the job. Unfortunately the bottom speaker on mine doesn’t work and all sounds come out of the ear piece but I use headphones 99% of the time so that’s a very small issue. For around $1000 cheaper than current pro models go for now I think the X is fantastic value.

I have the iPhone X and I love it, having made the move from android and Samsung about a year ago now, the iPhone X offered me value for money and that all important oled screen that I was so used to with my old Samsung flagship phones. I certainly don't have any plans to upgrade my iPhone anytime soon either. Love watching your videos so keep them coming 🙂

I actually want iPhone so I don't feel the need to upgrade every other year like on Android.

i'm surprised you're coming back to the iphone x. i just got the iphone x because i've been watching your videos too much. i had a pixel 3 and an old pixel 2. the last iphone i had was iphone 5 refurbished, and i have been wanting to try iphones again.

your iphone x videos legit became the biggest reason i bought it. glad you're coming back to it again.

The display, camera, and design of the iPhone X line is just perfect. So far X is still my favorite phone, feels actually premium in the hand

I had my iPhone X since launch and recently (this past April) upgraded to an iPhone Xs and I love both. Like you, I'm passionate about technology, but when it comes to phones, I also feel like I don't need to have the latest and greatest as I try to keep the minimum amount of apps installed and whenever a website can substitute an app (say Amazon for example), I use that instead.

I’ve been rocking my iPhone X since launch day and I’m very happy with it, even though I get some backlash from people saying I’m broke and that I can’t afford the newest one, I’m like I don’t need 3 cameras or the lidar sensor, the x feels like the 11 and 12 and I’m keeping my x it’s very reliable, I don’t care if people call me broke, I love this phone🔥🔥

i personally downgraded from an iPhone 11 to the SE, and ive had no regrets doing it. the SE has everything i need, and has some additional perks to me, like touch id and the smaller form factor
