A team of oceanographers are investigating ice-ocean interactions in two neighboring glacier systems in Western Greenland. Though these glaciers are in close proximity to each other, one is losing mass while the other has held steady, raising questions about the ocean's influence at the ice-ocean interface. This is a 2-year, 3-field season NASA-funded research project that will be completed in the summer of 2015.
