The way to get flint and steel from the nether:
1: make sure you have iron armor and tools
2: smelt them if you have a furnace (I just realized you can’t do it without a furnace or any type of furnace)
3: make an iron ingot from the nuggets
4: get flint from gravel (there is gravel at some lava lakes sometimes)
5: make a flint and steal and forget where your portal was and actually get stuck on the nether
