A decade of baking bigger and bolder with home bakers like you!

I’ve been fortunate to share my bold baking style with millions of fans on television and online: Netflix’s “Nailed It!”, Food Network’s “Best Baker in America”, "Baker's Dozen" on Hulu, and segments produced for "The Today Show".

This channel, my website, and my two cookbooks all build on my career as a professional chef, which has seen me work in every kind of baking setting you can imagine – from a rundown Tuscan villa, to an Irish priory, to a Michelin-starred restaurant. I’ve had to become creative, imaginative, and bold…and that’s what I want to bring to every one of my “Bold Bakers"!

Thanks so much, Gemma. I prefer corn tortillas over flour tortillas. Your demonstration is so pleasantly done.

Gemma thank you for this video. I will certainly try it. Your dough for dumplings was fantastic! We made them recently. You are a gem, Gemma! Your recipes are easy to follow for this 65 year old and always satisfying. Many thanks.

In Texas we would use lard instead of olive oil but it looks great.

I have a tortilla press, and in addition to tortillas I also use it for my mini tart dough.

Thanks for a great vid & recipe. I use a large stockpot to press my tortillas. I put the dough in a gallon ziplock with the side seams cut…lean on the pot to flatten the dough.

I make homemade flour and homemade corn tortillas been for years and I never measure anything and eve try thing is completely from scratch, also I use the “Snow cap” Manteca. Grinding stone for the corn to make the corn flour. Flour tortillas I roll out with my homemade rolling pin and the corn tortillas I use the tortilla press we got from Mexico both are cooked on the cast iron comas/placa (I heard it referred to in both ways. Cook with no utensil to flip (hands) and no timer (you just know when finished) Anyway, good to see you got a good recipe working for you. Great job 🎉
