German School System/ School System in Germany

How does the German School System look like?
In this video, I'm going to give you a brief overview of it.

1. elementary school (Grundschule) start from age six until the fourth or sixth grade.
2. - main school (Hauptschule) to 9. grade - job qualification (mostly blue-collar)
- middle school (Realschule) to 10. grade - job qualification (Ausbildung) (e.g. banker)
- grammar school/ academic high school (Gymnasium) to 12./13. grade - university
- integrated/comprehensive school (Gesamtschule) up to 13. grade
