For those wondering what happened: this is a clip from the movie Through the Never, and everything starts to malfunction right after this song, the statue in and justice for all crumbles on stage leaving parts everywhere and making everybody worried about it and wondering if they should carry on with the show or not, but as no one gets harmed they continue and play hit the lights in a small part of the stage. James says that playing like that reminds him of the origin of the band playing in the garage. It was planed. You need to see the movie from the start and you will understand it easier.

To people commenting on how they can’t hear Kirk, it is because they were having electrical issues during this performance. James also had issues with his equipment not working properly and he got mad.
