That's a really good idea for protecting the gaskets but I use a screen protector protect my screen from resin pools to keep from having to scratch my screen I wonder if they would work together in junction

That's right, I did just what you warned about! Struggled more than usual to get the vat out after a spectacular print, but wasn't really paying attention. After a puzzling 30 seconds of "What just happened?", I realized I pulled the LCD off. It cut the flex cable clean at the edge, so I hadn't quite realized what I did. The vat leaked and adhered itself to the face of the lcd. Fortunately it really didn't leak anywhere else, so no deep cleaning of the machine required. Nonetheless, I've ordered a new lcd. I'll be sure to order a gasket now as well. Thanks for the advice.

To place it accurately, use a single piece of blue tape on the edge near the screw. Place the decal exactly where you want it, then flip it up and remove the paper backing using the blue tape as a hinge. The decal will drop right back down into place with very little hassle.

Mine Elegoo Mars 2 Pro already had some type of gasket around the screen preinstalled. Not as nice as that one, but sufficient.

Yeah I was thinking that vinyl cuts would work for this. I did vehicle wraps for awhile and this doesn't leave a gnarly residue if you remove it.

Forgot to mention that I use a plastic scraper to remove any resin fused to the screen.

That's a cool idea for a product. Do you know of anything that will protect the surface of the LCD screen? I got a bit of resin on mine and it cured. It completely turned my machine into a paper weight as Elegoo doesn't make LCD Screen replacements for the Mars 2 Pro.

So on most vinyl stickers types. The longer they are on the material to hard it will be to remove. But it takes time. I have vinyl plotter as one of my tools.

I make my own just using the peel-n-stick contact paper meant for cabinets and after re-calibration it's works well, having a cheap insurance policy never hurts.
