the Anakin and Obi Wan duel is the best light saber fight of all time. It hasn't even been challenged in the last 20 years.

It's a tragic story told to perfection. There is no villain and redemption like Vader. Hayden absolutely killed it with his performance, what an actor. I was 10 when Phantom Menace came out but I had already watched the original trilogy so much that the Return of the Jedi VHS was in almost unwatchable state.

The fact that they practice the swordfight and not making it is the computer, is making these scenes soooo much better!

Imagine if Hayden went to a comic con with that Darth Vader outfit then when he take off his mask, BOOM! The OG Anakin Skywalker. The whole bloody comic con would explode.

I think having Hayden in the darth Vader suit was a great decision.

Darth Vader is the king of my nightmares. I had horrible dreams about him when I was little. Seeing his backstory makes you realize he wasn’t truly the bad guy. He was manipulated and abused and became angry with himself and what he had done. Also seeing a handsome kind actor getting dressed to play this part reminds you it’s all make believe.

Man watching them practice that saber battle is just so awesome. The first 3 episodes were the star wars of my age, and I couldnt be anymore happy with them.
With all the hate they recieved I think they hold up quite well when watching all the movies back.

From the duel of fates scene to that last epic fast paced saber battle these 3 movies are amazing.

As someone who has been in a Vader suit(not of the quality as Hayden’s of course)for Halloween, I can attest: it really does make you feel different. Intimidating and somewhat more powerful. The looks I got etc.

RoTS is my favorite Star Wars movie. I grew up watching the originals and when the prequels came out I loved them. It is the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker alright, and when this one came out you knew there will be no happy ending, yet you hoped for it. Hayden portrayed beautifully all that rage, doubt, fruatration and pain. To this day, this is the best saber fight in all Star Wara imo. So much is being communicated through the clash of sabers, adding to the amazing choreography both Hayden and Ewan mastered so impecably. If I ever meet any of those guys I will tell them it totally payed off.

they told such a marvelous story about Anakin and Obi Wan. the prequels get some hate here and there- but i think they story telling was done magnificently. the most emotional down fall of any character ever written is of Anakin. and Hayden portrayed the character incredibly. i love the chemistry of Ewan and Hayden on screen. you can tell they grew to like each other off screen

thanks for showing this gets me even more excited for the obi-wan Kenobi series seeing both him and Hayden coming back to play as Darth Vader being in the suit again is incredible I love these characters and actors

I have watched ROTS so many times and when darth Vader does his breathing for the first time still gives me chills
