The clones really thought that after all those battles where yoda fought beside them, he wouldn't recognize their voice or face while in jedi robes.

Imagine betraying the jedi including your best friend to save your pregnant wife and then force choke her while lifting her from the ground ☠️

They should have gone with the choke and lift. The whole "dying of a broken heart" thing was just silly.

That clones disguised as Jedi bit explains so much why in the lego videogame, all the clones were disguised as Jedi when they jump you. I thought that was just something Tt games added in.

This was George's last movie for a reason

Hopefully some time in the future we can get the full gritty version with all the cut scenes added in I doubt it’ll happen but it would be nice to see how different those scenes would make the movie feel in contrast to what we got.

I wish they kept this more graphic stuff in the movie. How is anything that was cut out more graphic than someone literally burning alive?

Why did they had to cut that out! It would have made more sense in the movie.

Wait! Clones disguised as Jedi? I saw that in the old Lego video game my brother and I used to play!

While I can understand why they would remove certain scenes, Revenge of the Sith is the first PG-13 movie that Star Wars has. Plus, weren't there scenes where certain people got decapitated or their limbs sliced off?

She doesnt die of sadness, Palpatine killed her to keep vader going

Edit for people with time to read: In Rise Of Skywalker we see in the final battle how Palpatine drains the Living Force out of Rey and Kylo Ren, so I think he did the same to Padmé, only now from another place, which I think isn’t impossible considering his powers and knowledge of the Force.

Why’d he do that? Well, the first reason could be to let Anakin suffer more and thus grow stronger into the Dark Side and the second reason could be to partly heal Anakin, as he was almost completely burned off and dead.

But why did Palpatine wait until after Luke and Leia were born, which he could’ve prevented? Maybe he drained enough Living Force to heal Anakin and didn’t even care if she was dead or not, but the amount he drained being so much that Padmé would die when doing something as intense as giving birth to two while being depressed.

This could fit with the droid’s explanation, as most droids of course aren’t force-sensitive nor do they possess knowledge about the Force. So the medical droid might not have fully comprehended this cause of death and thus assumed she died due to a lack of will to live because of sadness, while actually the draining of her living force was the cause. Although the first one doesn’t make sense, one could point out both causes have similar workings.

It might also explain how Palpatine knew Padmé is dead. He might’ve heard about it off-screen, but in the movie we see him picking up Anakin and immediately after we see how he watches Anakin gets his suit attached to him. This could be mean there was no time between the two events and that he couldn’t have heard about it from the outside world. Him killing Padmé however, can explain why he knew about her death and told Vader about it.

A small bonus: when Anakin Skywalker, now transformed into Darth Vader, reacts by saying he felt her being alive to Palpatine who tells him the news, it might be because he felt her living Force being transported to him.
