How to train your brain to CRAVE working out

Setting your alarm for a 6am workout just to hit snooze. Getting dressed for an evening workout class you never make it to. I do it too, you guys!!! Did you know we're actually physiologically programmed to avoid working out because our brain perceives it as a threat?!

The good news is there are ways to change the way your brain feels about workouts, so I've included 4 hacks and 1 amazing tool to use in this video!
How to train your brain to crave fitness:

1. Find an exercise that makes you happy. If you dread it, don't do it!
2. Find ways to distract yourself from your workout (watching TV on the treadmill, listening to an audiobook while running, etc).
3. Work out with friends!
4. Make your workout a routine by scheduling it into your calendar!

I have to say my biggest motivation to get myself to workout is remembering how great I feel after and how much stronger I will be later. Just knowing I get stronger and healthier each time I workout is motivation enough for me.

I literally love working out. I wake up at 5am to workout. When I get home from work, I look forward to going for a walk, doing a very quick easy toning video while watching Netflix and sometimes I’ll even do a second workout. It hasn’t always been like this. I had to build a consistent habit, and I can’t imagine not exercising or falling off the wagon now. I was so sick years ago and my motivation is to NEVER BE THAT SICK AGAIN.

Find a really strong motivation.

extra tip from me: I found that it's hard to go from 0 to 60, or to just dive into a workout, even when I have the scheduled time and space to do it, whether or not there's a planned stretch or warmup in the routine... so having some kind of fun thing to jump start your heart rate as a go-to warmup helps me a lot! (PSY's "Daddy" is my current song to bop to before getting started!) It's much easier to continue than it is to start.

This is AMAZING!!!! I was literally complaining a few minutes ago how disorganised my life is and how I have become sluggish but now I see the answer. And the answer is so BEAUTIFUL!!! Cassey you are a life saver thank you. I will totally need it for my last year of school now. ❤ 😊.

The planner: Honestly you guys have seriously out done yourselves. I actually REALLY appreciate the keepsake boxes they come in because honestly it sets the bar on it's worth monetarily. The aesthetics are cute and originally Blogilates-- catered specifically for our community :) it's not like you can pick up a similar one at the local Target. I am one of those people who didn't like the time tracker because my schedule was never really "set" and the fact that my day starts at 3:30am and ends at 7:00pm--- the written out time slots never worked for me anyway. Listing just lines with no time I actually really appreciate----now it CAN be used by me if I neeeded :D The tracking of measurements is awesome even if you don't use them, it's a wonderful option for all of us Popsters! The bundles are next level----the pins and calendar, just from online and this video seem like HUGE high quality! I feel like you guys are giving us POpsters the planner that we truly always dreamed of. Thank you guys for always challenging yourselves for us!

It's been a little over a year that I stick to working out with your calendar. I did not have any weight issue, but still, I suddenly realised that I was not getting younger! So, one day, out of nowhere, I told myself "I want to be in the best shape for as long as I could", and just like that I started working out with your videos. I don't even know how I got here, but I did NOT spend a single week NOT working out at least 3 times a week. I still don't like working out, but I've come to like being active, and working out makes me enjoy the inactive time even more. And that's because your videos are so accessible and cheerful! Ring fit adventure for the Switch. I love it!
It's fun, it encourages you, gives good advice about posture and health in general, it distracts, it tracks what you do and when and it asks you to take a break in between so you won't overdo it.
It makes me sweaty and tired and I feel my muscles the next day.

I started working out in February of this year and HATED it for several weeks, but I MADE myself keep going and now I crave it!!! I seriously never thought I’d be a person who enjoys it, but now I get antsy to go, it’s wild!

I agree with this!!! I always use to quit after a week going to the gym because it wasn’t a habit but 3 months ago I forced myself to go to gym even if I have no motivation and soon it became a habit. Now it’s just something normal I do and I look forward to it because of how much better I feel about myself! I will use these tips to help me keep going :)

Wish I could buy that fit planner but it’s really expensive and my parents will never let me spend so much money on something like that. I know it’s a great thing to invest in your health and that this fit planner required a lot of people to be made that’s why it’s expensive, but there are still cheaper ways to log in your food intake workout sleep etc.. and I come from a modest family where you can’t spend 40$ on a planner. It makes me very sad that they’re this expensive. I know it’s business, but it’s gets more and more expensive every year :((

Hi Cassey, my wife has been following your videos for years and recently got me into them. We love you and your workouts! I was wondering if you have plans to increase the amount of pregnancy videos because a lot of other workouts feature jumping around and nine months is a long time for my wife to be doing the same five videos!
