So many people have given everything in their chosen sport, but have not even qualified for the Olympics. Of those who get to go, those that win medals is a tiny fraction. Don't underestimate what you've achieved. The journey was worth it.

400 m hurdles is probably the most technical and grueling event on the track. Making it to the semis at the Olympics is no joke. Hitting the final hurdle, staying on your feet and just missing the finals is proof the tank was empty, Can't ask for more than that. Great effort, great coaching. 12th in the world at 400 m, 12th IN THE WORLD! 8.2 billion people in the world, Just saying. I'm from the U.S. and was more focused on team GB in the relays than my home team. I knew you two were coming home with some hardware. A big congrats to you both.

S/O Team GB on being the only country to medal in all 5 Relays @OLY with Laviai & Amber picking up 2 Medals each as they helped set 2 NRs. A Mixed 4x4 with Laviai, Amber, MHS & Dobson would be so dope if it were ever to happen :) Hope Victoria, Jodie, Ama, Nicole, Hannah & Yemi Mary are all inspired to keep levelling up next yr in the 400m like Amber (49.29 NR) & Laviai (49.87 PB) did this yr as a sub 3.19 NR is definitely possible for this squad & a sub 54s 400mH PB is just around the corner for Lina!

I can't help but shed tears when I see the final footage. 😢 The Nielsen twins are such persistent and incredible athletes! I was at the Stade de France on August 5th, and seeing Laviai standing on the podium was simply amazing! I will definitely support you on your journey to other athletics championships or through your daily vlogs. Well done, girls! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
