Paralympics 2024: Navdeep Singh's Silver Medal Turns To Gold In Dramatic Aggressive Javelin Face-off

Indian para-athlete Navdeep Singh won a historic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics on Saturday. Navdeep won the gold medal in the men's javelin throw F41 event.

Initially, Navdeep had won the silver medal, and the top spot was secured by Iran's Sadegh Beit Sayah but that changed quickly and the Indian para-athlete was awarded the gold medal.

This is because Iran's Sadegh Beit Sayah, the original gold medal winner, was disqualified for displaying an objectionable flag and making political gestures during the event. Sadegh Beit Sayah's Paralympic record was also nullified following his disqualification.

Jahan Achhe khase Hatte-khate logon ko sports me nhi jaane diya jaate hai, Just think about differently abled people what somone used to say when they say they want to pursue sports. ऐसे बहुत सारे खेल और उनकी कैटेगरी दिखाई दे रही थी, जिनमे हमारे देश के खिलाड़ी भी अगर खेले होते तो जरूर से जीते होते |
एक और ख़ास बात नोट की होगी आप सब ने, कि कई ऐसे भी खिलाड़ी थे जिन्होंने 3-3, 4-4 खेलों में भाग लिया था और मेडल जीते | विशेषकर कजाकिस्तान, ईरान, इटली और नीदरलैंड के तो कई खिलाड़ी थे जो लम्बी कूद, २०० मि. रन, डिस्क थ्रो आदि में खेल रहे थे | लेकिन हमारे देश के किसी खिलाड़ी ने ऐसा नहीं किया, जो कि किया जा सकता था |
सरकार को भविष्य के लिए खिलाड़ियों की तैयारी और चयन के लिए ऐसी ही योजनायें बनानी चाहिए कि स्कूल के लेवल से ही इन सब खेलों का प्रचार हो सके जिनमे ज्यादा सामान नहीं लगता |
