I feel for this guy. I had the same grim look when finished school with a golden medal. It sucked me dry, there were so much pointless and mind rotting junk I had to do for it. It was beneficial for my future education, but at what cost.

Reminds me of that one valedictorian speech. "I learned one thing upon getting this award. It was worthless. For years, I worked for this. For years, I yearned for this. But now looking back at it, I lost more than I could ever get from this."

The speech is very long but this is all I could remember. Still, it is about the relationships, memories, and time the speaker could have, but did not.

Honestly, this is me.
Countless nights i spent worrying about getting into a good college, spending 16 hours a day studying (3-4 months) but when i am so close to achieving it, it doesn't thrill me anymore. Like i feel i won't be happy when i'll achieve what i wanted to. Just want to get stable mentally and relax for a bit

Dude, I've just finished my master's program and about to graduate with honours. This is how I'm going to look on stage. This shit took way too much effort and time, far more than I initially anticipated. I'm still proud of my accomplishments, don't get me wrong. But the amount of stress I've been through is far superior to the amount of joy. I guess we all have a price to pay for our 15 minutes of fame (more like 1-2 minutes and you're out). At least I have an opportunity to see my mates one more time. Who knows if/when we meet again.
