Viral images claiming to showing the cause of the Maui fires are not true

At least three viral images that appear to show laser beams have spread across social media as purported evidence of the origins of the Maui fires.

Regardless of whether or not these images have anything to do with the Maui fires, this info does nothing to debunk the possibility that direct energy weapons may have been used to incinerate Maui.

I'm curious as to why all the richest people in the world who own property around Lahaina didn't have 1 blade of grass on any of their property damaged from the fire? To me that says a controlled burn and a way to take custody of the land they couldn't buy!

Ref Maui Fires ! Today Feb 29th, Joe Biden speaking in Brownsville, TX on the border discusses the Texas fires, but mentions the Maui fires making a remark that "look at the buildings that caught fire and the ones that had the correct roofs didn't" or something close to that. Check it out !
