Good to know I’ve not being doing it wrong all these years! Only difference with me is I use Levels rather than Curves, but seems the end result is about the same :)
And thanks for keeping this vid short! Nice and bite-sized

When I get to the curve feature and drag the points, it doesn't change the image. If I bring the left marker up, the photo fades. If I manually input numbers it doesn't change the image. The curve layer is selected when doing this. What am I doing wrong? Using CS6

Thank you so much! I have been having a hard time getting my images to be crisp in illustrator and this works perfectly for me! I’m not sure why people are so negative, if they don’t agree then they can just move on, some people need your help and may only have Photoshop to work with.

Hey! When i change the resolution for 300, it also changes the height and width...however I want the picture to be 1080 pixels x 1350 pixels with 300 resolution...Is that possible? My picture needs to be 1080 x 1350 because its for instagram feed and the original photo (that was taken with a cannon camera) has a differente size. When i changed the original size to 1080 x 1350, it lost quality and if you zoom the picture you can see the pixels...What should I do?

For some reason the curve for darkening part dozen seem to do anything with my logo though. Do you know why?
