Your ignorance is astonishing. EV sales continue to grow. The rate of growth each quarter varies but that it is growing is a simple, easily confirmed fact.

Ev adoption is no where near dead. Ev sales continue to grow. The equinox is on par with gas equivalent cars as far as price. The one lt trim can be purchased for around 35 k

Sales lots are full of ICE vehicles too. EV sales are actually up, prices are down and supply is good. What's the problem? Before people critical of EVs said they cost too much. Now they're pointing to dropping prices as a bad thing. Automakers can make an EV for less money than an ICE vehicle. Battery technology is improving. To all of you concerned about the price of gas, EVs help lower prices at the pump. To those concerned about being able to still drive a gas guzzler, there is no such thing as an EV mandate. Look it up! EVs actually allow manufacturers to put bigger ICE vehicles on the road by helping them meet their total fleet average mpg standard (aka CAFE standard). Coolness? No less cool than the ICE version of this car. If you are driving a certain kind of car to make yourself look cool, you probably should reevaluate your life priorities.

EVs just getting started I’ve owned my EV6 just short of 3 years had no problems love charging at home and see more EVs every day, and Kia 100k ten years warranty on battery and drive train, never go back to ice.

Most people who don’t like EV’s aren’t very informed about them. Battery warranties are usually 100, 000 miles or 8 years

This review is so off the mark, I don’t know where to begin. We just bought one of these, and the dealer had to order it, bc all their inventory was sold out. Maybe what you’re saying is true in Utah. But let’s be honest here, there are less than 4 million people in Utah.

Respect your opinion, but to each their own. I recently leased an Equinox EV, first time EV owner, I’m surprising loving it. One of those things I just wanted to try out, if I didn’t like it it’s only a 2 years lease, with all the incentives plus GM friends discount and also the Costco discount on top of that monthly payments were cheaper which I like. So I’m strange I have a lot of anxiety driving, and driving this thing, for me, takes most of the anxiety away. The instant torque being able to pass and accelerate with ease, I dunno maybe because it’s lighter but stopping seems easier for me. My 2 previous leases was a Chevy Colorado and a Blazer RS. All in all I see why people like it. If you’re curious and want to try it out, and leasing is a good option so if it’s not your cup of tea it’s temporary, then I would encourage those to try it.

I have owned two ICE Equinox cars (2012 & 2019) and just leased a 2024 Equinox EV RS on 11/27/24. My son has a 2020 Chevy Bolt that he has now owned for four years with 24, 300 maintenance free miles with the exception of rotating tires every 10, 000 miles. I had a level two charger installed at my home three months after my son bought his EV so I can also charge up my EV at home. Life is good because I got my EV before the guy who won the White House drops the $7, 500 tax credit and imposes tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China which will cause prices of imported goods to go up which means less money for us consumers. 49 percent of the voters choose the guy who will Make America NOT Great Again. Stay turned in for the craziness that is coming in the next four years!!!

For a lot of people, it's not really about coolness, it's about economics. Operating costs of an EV can be much lower than that of a gas vehicle. If the math works out for you, then it just works out, and by not switching you just leave money on table you could otherwise be using for things other than buying gas (and oil changes, brake jobs, timing belts, etc.)
And please don't start parroting the old FUD of, "Well you'll be replacing your battery for $15, 000 at the end of 5 years", or "You must be fond of burning your garage down because these EV spontaneously go up in flames." Most EV batteries are warrantied for up to 10 years, and there are plenty examples of older EVs out there still functioning just fine on their original batteries.

you're out of touch, man. take a wider view...maybe they aren't taking off in your part of Utah, but they are just about every where else.

Toyota isn't selling Corollas for their cool factor. Most people want dependable, reliable, cost effective transportation. EVs have that in spades. I've put 45k on my model Y in 2 years with no problems. Our Bolt had 23k miles within a year, no problems.

I’m just starting to look into the EV market. The 0-60 under 4 sec is standard now. My Jeep hemi does that in 5.7. Teslas sold 1.3 million vehicles in 2024 generating 71 billion in revenue. Evs are good for surburan commuters. I’ll still have an ICE in my family but Evs /hybrids aren’t dying. Imo hybrids like the Scout coming out will be design that’s wins over people looking for performance without range anxiety. Great review!

Big oil has dumped millions of dollars into making people believe they’re not cool anymore. I just got a loaded up version of that thing in my pick up truck sits in the driveway. I don’t think I would ever buy another vehicle ever again as long as my pick up can still tow my boat.

Making negative posts like this gets hits. You are going to have ClickBait on Google's YouTube, because the pay to YouTube channels is mostly based on clicks "hits". YouTube encourages this stuff, even coaches creators how to create ClickBait thumbnails for their posts!

I think it depends on where you live. Are you in UTAH? I live in San Diego County & EVs are a dime a dozen. I just leased a 2024 Chevy Equinox EV 2LT 🚘 and I'm really enjoying driving it past gas stations 🤗 I can easily charge it on the driveway at my home's exterior 120v plug overnight. To each their own.

Equinox is a good looking car for a electric vehicle

I like the idea and the futuristic mentality though I need to get from Buffalo to Brooklyn on a charge

I just traded my Kia EV6 in for the Equinox EV 2RS with Super Cruise. While I was there, they had sold 3 other Equinox EVs and I had to come back the next day because they had a line for detailing and charging them up. So maybe the Equinox EV is hitting a sweet spot.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. I recently picked an 8yr P90D Ludacris Model S. With only 16% battery dadagration and a 10sec quarter mile time for dirt cheap. Keep up the EV hate, I'm looking to upgrade to the Lucid Sapphire in a couple years😁😁
