The most nervous I have EVER been on a golf course was last year when i was still off 10. It was in a winter pro sweep, playing with my dad. I was 1 under and had a 2 foot putt for birdie on the last for 2 under gross. He told me "this is the best I have ever seen you play" this was before I hit the putt. Thankfully i holed it. Just to put this in to context. My dad is scratch, he is 56 years old and has been a scratch golfer for my entire 30 year life. He has the course record of 8 under par and had won the club championship 5 times, one of which he shot that record score. He is my golfing hero.

I love the scramble format. I like the idea of playing your own ball after the tee shot. All of the ones that I’ve played in was where everyone played from the best positioned ball through the green. It must have been great to play with Padraig Harrington. He’s been a favorite of mine for many years.

Great video, Rick! You got to play with one of my all-time favorite PGA Professionals, and one great guy to boot, Padraig Harrington! I actually got to shaft-up a few of Padraig’s clubs at the 2014 US PGA Championship at Oak Hill (Padraig was playing ACCRA golf shafts at the time, and I worked in the ACCRA/Matrix/KBS equipment trailer at that event, and many others during the 2012-2015 golf seasons)
