Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

Seems a level headed lad, hope we can look back on this in 10 years with a couple of tour wins under his belt. Frank isn't bad too.

Really impressed with Frank's maturity and level headedness. Going to keep an eye on his development and hope to see him on the PGA tour.

It's strange...growing up playing competitive junior golf, the REALLY good guys off scratch or better were always pretty humble and nice and friendly. The real arseholes were the guys stuck at around 4 or 5 at 16 years old but wanted to be the next Tiger. Frank seems like a nice kid. I hope he does well.

I’ve played in a golf tournament with Frank before, he was -7 thru 8 holes and finished shooting a -7, 65. Absolutely amazed with how simple he made the game look… fairway, green, 1 putt on just about every hole.

These are so much fun to watch. It’s well shot, edited and narrated. It’s funny and informative and just the right a out of banter and quality bits of information on a playing mindset. Long time sub and so impressed to see this channel grow to this level of production and popularity. Kudos!

Such a wise, thoughtful head on a young man’s shoulders. A real education to hear him to consider his shots, always thinking about the next shot to come.

I've been a subscriber so long I remember the fox chasing Rick and Pete around one of night courses years ago and the quote by the fox made me spit my beverage out. Frank's maturity and sportsmanship at 16 is unparalleled. I wish him the best.

Look forward to seeing what choice Frank makes for his future. A calm head on those shoulders. Hope to see a lot of Frank on leaderboards

“The middle of my clubs are still brand new”
- Rick Shiels 2022
Wow, 16 and so advanced in what can be deemed one of the most difficult sports to play. What a different world we live in. Thank you Rick for including us to Frank, a young man with a brilliant future.

I really like how you overlay the audio of the two of you chatting about the shots while playing the video for warming up / lining up the shot. It cuts down on dead/wasted time in the video and makes it flow really nicely

what impressed me was he articulated really good thought processes throughout. Reinforced that while there is of course the whole physical aspect of shot production, golf is a thinking game

"The middle of my clubs are still brand new" 🤣🤣🤣Another golden quote. Kid has a great golf IQ. Playing like a pro already. Can't wait to see what he does in the future!

I don't know that I've seen you struggle with your mid irons that much. That was the most surprising thing. Your putting for the most part was better than it's been of late. It'll all come together Rick! It was fun like always to watch!

What I love about you doing these matches with top players of all ages is how much their mindset is so positive and attacking. Even when they have a bad shot they are already figuring next shot or even two out not dwelling on it. It's a real eye opener.

Frank is a young stud. Seems humble and mature. If I had that skill at his age I'd be an absolute nightmare of a human 🤣. I wish him the best of luck. Hope he succeeds.

Rick is hands down the most likable golf pro with a YouTube I’ve ever seen. Rick doesn’t seem to like himself very much when he plays. That negative self talk is the only thing that seems to hold him back during these matches. Always rooting for your Rick! So enjoy your channel.

Like Tiger says: Every shot is the most important shot that you’re going to make. I always struggle with that but it’s what separates him from everyone else. Keep doing what you do, you’re what keeps me going! Thanks again.

Frank has an incredible golf brain at such a young age, to go with his phenomenal technique. An inspiration and well under half my age!

I played at IMG Academy in Florida after high school and then played top level mini tours for 5 years trying to make it. I was a +6 or so at 18. I tell people all the time if you can't step up and shoot 63 on any given day it's not gonna work. For example, I made got through local US Open qualifying in a playoff after shooting 66. I then shot 66-67 in Sectionals and missed qualifying by 4 shots. -11 over two rounds at a hard golf course and wasn't even close. I wish you well Frank and NEVER fear a score.
