It is a 200-yard ballistic driver made for people with handicaps so they can still enjoy playing the game. They have been out for a while, but many knew nothing about them until Rick made a video about them. They are pretty cool.

Played with someone who had this specialized (no swing) club. He had a bad back so he couldn't turn to swing a golf club but still wanted to play. So he bought this mechanized club and this looks EXACTLY like it. It use a 22 caliber blank, which is shot (it sounds like a gun because it really is, but with a blank) and powers a piston that (explodes) hits the ball. Each shot requires a new 22 cal blank. At that time, range was about 210-220 yards. Easily hits the ball straight. All the player does is line the club up and pulls the trigger, which is on the grip. Controlling the trajectory is a matter of leaning the club forward (lower ball flight) or backward (higher ball flight). Distance is controlled by setting the club for different levels of power (how hard the piston strikes the ball. It is cheating, but it does allow those who have back problems to play golf, which is great.
