Cops are use to people lying to them so it was probably refreshing that this rider was honest and accepted responsibility for his actions. Honesty often goes a long way. You have a 50/50 chance they may give you a break and this guy caught it.

The interaction between the trooper and the rider is most important here and this was a great interaction even if the trooper would have given a ticket I would have been more about the interaction.... both the trooper and the rider were great like to see more of this

A simple apology and total respect with an explanation. That cop loved this interaction, alot of people need to relize that cops are people too and for every 1 of these videos you see I bet you there are 10 instances where the cop was disrespected for nothing else other then doing their jobs.

The allows for speeding, and the law allows for discretion. He weren't being reckless, just had too much passion. Every police interaction should be like this.
