Pulled Over with Concealed Carry

Pulled over today bringing my girlfriend home from oral surgery. I had my handgun on me as well, overall an uneventful encounter.

She was trying to signal that she had been held captive for 8 days, but couldn't speak due to a sock in her mouth.

He slipped up almost admitted he’s the murderer that keeps hands as trophies.

Actually the proper way to do it is to wait as the officer is approaching and than wave your gun out the window while yelling "i have a gun".

In a situation like this, it’s best to say “officer, I have a gun”
Pull out your gun and say “don’t worry, it’s not loaded” and proceed to point the gun at him so he can look down the barrel to confirm there’s nothing in the chamber.
Efficient, and earns the trust of the fellow officers 👍🏻

For new viewers: given that you ARE licensed to carry in the state you're pulled over in, be sure to inform that you are licensed prior to saying that you're armed.

The proper way of doing that is to wait until they get to the window, and quickly pull your gun out and say "Ha! I woulda gotcha!"

This cop did everything right, his body was position behind the driver, he was very clear in his speech and instructions. There was no confusion. I applaud this police officer.

I just got pulled over for the first time while carrying.

I told him I was carrying.

He just said he didn't care and respects my right to carry in my state of Washington.

Never brought it up again.

Cop asked for registration and insurance didn't give me a ticket told me he cared about my well being and to drive safe.

And that was it.
