Some lessons to be learned from this film are: choose your identity, don’t let people decide your role for you, what you think you can do you definitely can if you try, hard work equals rewards, journeys may not be as bad as they look, there’s many different ways to travel for a common cause, when an animal denies his nature man will have something to fear, when gold dries up luck dries up, some towns are established by topography others by luck, when someone urges you to do something it just may be your calling, if you dwell on bad things you’ll upset yourself, when someone tries to reason with you you have to decide whether to listen or decide for yourself, mind your own business, some dogs don’t want to be household pets, you won’t know until you try, dogs have various purposes, dogs have intelligent ways to figure out how to do things, some things you want may be more trouble than they’re worth, breaks are needed during difficult endeavors, discovering your true nature takes efforts, some people think they know more about you than you really do even when they don’t, do what you meant to do despite the odds, the kennel can’t always house all dogs, always practice what you endeavor to do, animals will have a new purpose when they retire from their initial role, sometimes you’ll have to escape certain situations even if it means physically finding a way out, ice can break when you cross it, exciting news travel fast, every dog has an individual purpose in life, hard decisions have to be made, dogs are capable of identifying their own purposes, sometimes you to have to be more forceful to influence animals, it may take more than on team to accomplish an endeavor, when you underestimate people you’re wrong, if you speak your mind you’ll be heard, be firm to stand up for yourself, goodness can be taken out of context, leaders don’t like to lose their roles, a lot can happen in a decade, don’t underestimate your spouse, global warming causes ice to melt rapidly, must have an ingenious idea to escape melting ice or get across dangerous terrain, offer friends to help them when you can, time in the house can get tiring, give leaders encouragement for their efforts, don’t give up when you’ve made it so far, don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed, allow yourself plenty of time, dogs need attention, if you just sit while your competitor is on the move you won’t make it against them, innocent remarks can inadvertently offend, apologize when needed, injured animals need rest, as devastating as it is you may be be able to work to your fullest potential at something while sick or injured, don’t deny someone’s truth, nothing can stop you if you try, animals have new jobs when they retire from their respective roles, dogs have bonds with humans and specific roles, death is inevitable, and legacies live on.

I had a dog like this when I was a baby. We lived out in a more open space so she loved it and when we moved she didn’t take to being in a fenced yard and we had to give her up to someone that had wider open space
